Cyborg Bunny

Just futzing around with line art a little bit, since my drawing bug has come back. I actually started this drawing a year ago, but I found it again and decided to ink it. It's on notebook paper, so I lost a smidgen of detail in the B/W scan, but I think it still looks good.

This was inspired by a mini lop rabbit I had, named Scooter. Her mother was crazy and mutilated her babies when they were born, so Scooter had a missing leg and a twisted paw. She got around just fine, though, and she was a really badass bunny. I thought it would be really cool if she had some kind of prosthetic to replace her missing leg.

Don't look too closely at it, though. I have no idea how to draw mechanical things. But the prosthetic was somewhat inspired by paralympic runners and steampunk.

Scooter later died of seizures that affected most of the females in her bloodline, but I'm glad I was able to give a special bunny a good home. I hope this art gives you a taste of how awesome she really was.
